If you are looking for water repellency and want to make your clothes more durable, this is the product for you. , there is no truly waterproof pad. I needed wax to waterproof the jacket and stiffen the fabric so I could wear it for two seasons (depending on how fast my son is growing of course). This worked great and there was no waxy feeling left on the canvas when heated. Application: super easy to apply. The application took a little while, but the result was worth it. Don't heat it before applying (as some have suggested), it will stain and "stain" the fabric (I learned this the hard way). Just paint until the clothes are almost white, I didn't do that the first time and I had to do another layer. After that I took my hair dryer and melted it into fabric and oxen! Great coat made of waxed canvas. Size: Some people have complained about its size but to be honest fabric wax is a little different and as it is a performance enhancing wax you pay a little more.
