There was a nice piece of metal. Bought for a West Bend bread maker as we lost the original spatula. So excited to make bread with new. The pin fitted well, but wasn't tight and broke off mid-cycle. Baked in a loaf, the loaf was only kneaded halfway and didn't rise until the end. 1 inch of flour on the bottom (which was on top when we rotated the loaf. And a big hole in the middle. Apologies for the photo. Returned the product. It's not universal.
