I have this and the full size. While the full version worked well, this one is much easier to use because it's smaller. I have a full, thick and long beard and this one works great. So don't feel like you need to go big if you have a similar beard. If you have a short beard then this is a must have. It also heats up faster. Otherwise this is the main difference, it works great and is almost the same as the larger size - great for my long thick beard. No matter how many times I brush my hair with a boar comb, I can't stop it from getting frizzy. I use the same amount of oil and balm as before but now I use this first and it smoothes out nicely. I can then maintain it with a brush all day long. I love it and am glad I bought it. Definitely recommend!
