Where to start? Washed the lid after opening because of the chemical smell. Note that the label recommends air drying or DRY CLEAN! Who pays for such dry cleaning? Not me. I washed it on the gentle cycle and waited for it to air dry. I tried to put it on the sofa and heard the threads snap. My sofa was at the top of the size range (85 inches). I thought tighter would be better than looser but I think I should have bought the XL. Lesson learned. So I ordered size XL and decided to try it on a smaller sofa where it fit great. When the second case arrived I opened it up and found it was the wrong color. No non-slip foam was included. And the fabric was even of a different type/pattern. Now I decide I'm done with that, so. I take off this cover to go back and find little balls of fur all over my couch. The material is very thin and does not roll well. The manufacturer includes a little card asking you to contact them first if you have any problems! "A happy customer is our goal!" it says. like i do I blame it on what I thought was a language barrier but after 3 emails I got absolutely nothing and the "customer support" didn't offer any help at all. So, back to Revain, both go. I don't know why my experience was so much worse than all those 5 star reviewers but it was. Perhaps it's a clear case of "you get what you pay for", but all the rave reviews have me won over. Spring. Thanks to Hod for making Revane's return so easy. If you bought this cover and you have a problem, throw this little card out the window and just take care of Revane.
