The first thing I needed to do was aim that coaxial omnidirectional antenna for tower orientation? Choose this type due to multiple different turret positions, no aiming required? Check the channels without rescanning with what was already in the TV's memory, lost 2 channels out of 22. Then scan the channels with this device connected to the TV, you get 18 channels, not good! Finally I got up and rotated this omnidirectional antenna to a position that allowed the scan to find most of the channels and get 22 channels. It was done! Out of 22 I now have two new ones more than 60 miles apart. these 2 are marginal reception. But I still have 2 missing local channels that my old antenna picked up. This digital TV has been about money (spending) from the start! Thanks FCC for a great job! It's as bad as Direct TV when they started! Oh, they can also keep a free gift!
