Well, everything in the package fits and is installed by default, but the vacuum cleaner works much louder than with its original rollers. After trying to pinpoint the problem I think it has to do with the new rollers causing more friction during cleaning. The green reels appear to have slightly different gray tips. The vacuum cleaner is much louder when vacuuming and there is often a grinding noise, like the vacuum cleaner is sticking to something, but on a smooth, clean surface. So the attached image shows different gray spikes on both reels. The standard end has a square wheel and the secondary end has a rounded wheel edge. After about 10 minutes of checking aftermarket parts, there was visible damage to the inside of the rounded gray plastic tips where they don't seem to spin flush and eventually impacted the shaft causing indentations in the plastic wheel. So we replaced that end piece with a more rectangular one, one on each of the pulleys. The loud grinding noise was reduced somewhat after replacing a part, but the noise disappeared completely after both secondary pulleys were fitted with gray pads. Vacuum sounds like it used to. Everything seems tidied up nicely after I replaced those crappy reel tips with the old ones. For the price I guess it's a minor inconvenience, I just hope it doesn't affect the overall lifespan or functionality of the robot. I can end up buying the standard package and see if the same problem occurs. We have an i7 Roomba, we've had it for a year now and it's amazing and has held up well to the wear and tear so I really don't want to ruin my vacuum by fitting faulty replacement parts. Makes me think about the quality of other replacement parts.
