This collar is unique, the perfect combination of simplicity and elegance. However, I will say that the ratio of leather and rope is not right. The size is also a bit different, I took a large due to the size, but I could have chosen a medium and there would still be plenty of room. Took a hiking collar so you can imagine what it all went through. When I got home I washed the dirt off the leather with a damp cloth and it looked new again. Part of the rope is so thin that my dog fur covered it to keep it from getting dirty. For that and also because the leather is so hard-wearing, I deduct a star, otherwise it's perfect. In short I'd say this collar would look great on a dog that doesn't have a fluffy coat and be prepared to dig into the skin. If you are looking for a simple yet elegant choker, this is it.
