Good privacy option

We received clear squares and this window film. This brown matte sheet seems to be better than the square version in terms of privacy, but it is more difficult to cut straight. The lines on the squares make it easy to cut straight, but they don't obstruct your view much at certain times of the day. The brown matte foil also clouds the view, but not completely. On the other hand, it doesn't transmit light very well, like squares. If you want complete privacy, window film won't work. It would be easier to use 3m hooks and a curtain rod to hang blackout curtains for complete privacy.

Pros

Easy to fix, remove and reuse. Get that frosted glass look with Easy Do-it. Does not fade, does not bubble, is reusable and has a long service life.
