Not great, but if you squeeze your vacuum wand down to about 3/8" x 1" or if you prefer metric units of about 1cm x 2.5cm, you've got it not much airflow so you don't have strong suction, but that's just physics. Considering the environment it will be used in, this is acceptable. Many criticized the narrow gap at the end. It's about 1 nickel thick and lets even less air through, resulting in even less suction. However, this end element is easily pushed out. I used the handle of a wooden kitchen spoon to mix. Some improvement but since most of the suction comes through the big hole on the side of the hose there wasn't much of a difference in the end. I suspect the slot is more to prevent the side of the wand from snagging on a flat surface when vacuuming than to suck up debris. fit. It took a few days to sort it out. I gently heated it with a hair dryer and bent the wand back until it was almost straight. It's soft plastic so never hard and straight, but getting alongside and under machines is probably a good thing. I would like the wand to be sent to a mailbox where it can stay straight at all times. I would buy them again.
