I bought this because I saw people teaching their dogs to communicate with them. For example, if the button says "walk" and the dog steps on it, then the dog wants to go for a walk. I have a 24 pound mix and found it difficult for her to push the button all the way down to make that noise. I cut her nails short because she moved them to make noise. The sound quality is perfect. Just think about the surface you want to place the button on. Hardwood floors or tiles will make the noise louder, while carpets will muffle it a bit. When I first got it and pressed the button there was a recording of someone checking the audio which startled me at first haha. So don't worry like me. I have this and a blue and yellow button. However, my dog finds it a little easier to squeeze. I have them in different colors so I can tell them apart when training my dog, but since this one is lighter I just buy more and write an action word on it to help me. never mind
