I looked at the two shield clamp mechanism and thought it would work better on a flat surface than a super clamp with a small rig. Not so. That works, but due to the added flexibility of these connections, it doesn't work very well on a wooden shelf. With a strong clamp he was more shaky. A smaller setup with fewer moving parts works better. The hand itself is as good as the little handle. Nice. I am a fan and use other Neewer products. I keep it and classify it as a slight debt. That works fine. But there are better things.
