Well, our little fluffy baby, pensioner and MOM of the family is a bit "sensitive". She is friendly and really considers us her little kittens. But she's also a little restless. When we first adopted her a few years ago, she hid under furniture and behind couches for over 2 months, maybe longer. At least 6 months into her living with us we were finally able to coax her out on her own and she now spends the day sunning on the corner of the couch, looking out the window and occasionally taking naps indoors. her "BALL" (a fuzzy bed from the pet store) or a drawer in the closet (yeah, right next to t-shirts or whatever). And she insists on sleeping on pillows wrapped around our heads at night. However, she is quick to hide when overly aroused. And from time to time, when we were absent all day or we moved some furniture or something else to "disrupt" them - in the corner, in the same place, there was a small "gift" behind. Desk in the living room. It only happens from time to time, mind you, but all of the above made me think there should be MORE things we can do to relax and soothe our kitty. So after spending a few hours looking for tools/tips I bought this diffuser and it took a few days to hook it up, but I'll tell you - she's got a new flower of confidence - and a twinkle in her eyes ! Against that. She paced, visited us several times, then finally found a cozy spot in the living room and just sat there SLOWLY STARRING her eyes at us. She was in the "zone". The last few days - wildly playing tail chasing on the corner of the sofa and generally in a more confident mood, came to visit to say hello and even more so didn't run back to the hideout. She's sitting in the middle of the couch right now, cleaning herself, which is actually "new" behavior to her. It's been THREE WEEKS since we bought this product and she continues to be fun, chilled - and no 'gifts'. "Any angles. We are very happy with this purchase. Anyone with a nervous/shy cat I would definitely recommend checking this out. Oh and maybe the guy in the CAT WHISPERER video but yeah. Love it :- )
