The tank cap is not original or made with a defect. The rubber O-ring was visibly damaged and was not forming a vacuum seal as evidenced by numerous check engine lights and a very strong smell of gasoline. Also, my fuel consumption decreased by 10-20%. Overall, I would only order this from a reputable Toyota parts dealer to save myself the headache. My replacement for this arrived today and a visual comparison of the two makes it very clear that the one received from Revain is faulty. The Check Engine lights are off, the smell of fuel vapor is gone and everything is fine.
