Read the instructions carefully. This is a wet product. Although I was careful, I had to drop a defender on the first try. It looked better on the second try and also allowed it to dry within 24 hours. You will also need baby shampoo to make the wet application solution. It also helped that two people splashed their hands and the protective film itself while another person separated the product from the paper.
