Review on 💄 Dose of Colors Blushing Berries Eyeshadow Palette: Vibrant Shades for Mesmerizing Eye Makeup by Teresa Becker

Comes in a nice outer box. The color names are listed on the back of the box and palette along with the ingredients. It is cruelty-free, paraben-free, talc-free, and gluten-free. Made in the USA. The palette is matte and feels like rubber. I'm not sure what it is, but it's smooth. this is red The color names are on the back. There is a full-length mirror in the lid of the palette. The set includes a double-ended brush. One end is a small blending brush, the other is a small sharp pencil brush. It's made of plastic and very thin. The hair is soft. The brush works, but it's definitely not a high-end brush. I always find that the brushes that come with the palettes aren't usually very good, but they work. This is an all matte palette. The mats are soft, smooth and pigmented. There's a lot of recoil in the pot, but I don't mind that. Usually when I see it they are easy to mix up as is the case here. They are easy to apply, well pigmented but easy to blend. There is a beautiful variation of shades - a light shade that can be used as a transition shade or as a shade of other shades. There are 3 shades that can be used as wrinkle or eyeshadow. Then there's a deeper shade that can be used to deepen things. I like it when there is such variation in the palette. I'm very fair skinned so red shadows can sometimes make me look like conjunctivitis 😂 So I wasn't quite sure what to think of this palette. But they have enough of a brownish tint that they don't have the same effect on me. It's the lightest shade. It's like a warm peach brown. The next shade is a little darker than the first, but the same warm peachy brown. Then there is a berry red shade that is not too red even when mixed with other shades. Next comes brown with a warm undertone. Finally there is black. It's not blotchy at all, which is great. It's pigmented but not overly pigmented, which I like as it's easy to work with. I like the color story much more than I thought. I don't usually use all matte palettes either because I love the shimmer on my lid. But it's small enough and complements all my shimmery palettes perfectly! All in all, this is a nice palette. The packaging is beautiful. It's small and compact. That's very pleasant. The mats work wonderfully. They are soft, smooth, pigmented and easy to blend. If you like this color story, this would be a great palette. I found $32 (at the time of writing this review) quite expensive for a 5 panel palette, but when I broke it down by shade it was only $6.40 per shade, which doesn't seem too bad. They all work great so if you like this color story I would recommend it!
