Review on 🛠️ RKX 2.5L PCV Valve Cover Repair Kit for VW 07K103469L Mk5 Mk6 - Upgraded Replacement by Andy Quade

I haven't installed this yet. I just ordered it to use later when I need it. I bought it at the same time as a 2.5 liter vacuum pump conversion kit for VW Jetta. All I can say so far are my observations. Everything I've ordered seems to be of decent quality. I believe they should work satisfactorily. I have read many reviews online about RKX. It looks like the company sells quality parts. Now for the bad things I didn't like. All parts came in a thin cardboard envelope. This envelope was then placed in bubble wrap. Inside, all parts move and rub against each other. So you have contact with O-rings, metal seals and plastic parts. My PCV valve kit gasket was bent. It was pressed against a plastic plug in that other plastic piece. I took it out and laid it on a flat surface hoping it would hold its shape. Different package for vacuum pump repair kit. The large specialty main O-ring was scratched by rubbing against the sharp metal seal. So now there may be oil leaks. Destroying the entire purpose of my change to stop a leak already in place! They need to improve their packaging. Delicate rubber parts should be wrapped separately in plastic. Don't let them rub against hard plastic or sharp metal parts!
