This is our preferred window mount. The pattern is subtle (unlike some of them!), and when applied correctly, the tack works really well. We used this to darken the glass on our front door and it stayed in place for over 2 years before we left this house; it is worth the price. We are now using it on the bedroom and bathroom windows in our newly built home while waiting for window covers. It has been proven through trial and error that this hold works best (and is easiest to break) if you first apply enough water to the window. When you attach the elastic, some water should run out around the edges. If it doesn't, you may find that the clasp comes loose at the edges and seams. However, if you use it properly, it is a great product that offers complete privacy and light with a very subtle pattern.
