my 6 year old wore these shoes for exactly 4 months. He doesn't wear them every day, but he's quite an active kid. The shoes look great and the velcro is very comfortable, however the shoes are short lived. The bottom layer of the sole started to crack within the first month. I used shoe glue to stick them back on so he could keep wearing them. His toe broke his shoe today so I think we're almost done with that. Attention - his feet are not too big for these shoes either. He can slide his feet without loosening the velcro. What initially drew me to these shoes was the price (under $30) and the style. But since it only lasted 4 months, the true cost of these shoes is too high to ever think of buying again. For his next pair of sneakers I will try something better even if it costs a lot more.
