I now have both metric and ft-inch versions on my workbench. Very handy when I need a rough measurement quickly. Suggestion: see if you can adjust them so the zero hits something. I line them up so they are against the flat edge of my magazine vise. That way I can attach a piece of trim to it and mark the length I want. NOTE: Make sure you order the one that measures LEFT TO RIGHT. A few years ago I ordered a similar tape (maybe from a different manufacturer) and it read the opposite way. Although in some scenarios that may be required for ordinary situations, this is not very good for western minds.
