My baby wants to copy everything I make so will give it a try if I get a full frame DSLR. This camera is covered with a silicone case to hold it in your hand and also to protect it from the inevitable drops and falls. The menu is well laid out but can be a bit tricky for young children as there is no "enter" button, you press the shutter button to confirm your choice. A touchscreen would eliminate these problems, but for the price it would be too expensive. Images are saved and transferred via microSD using the adapter supplied. There are little actions like the snake to distract my kid when they are waiting so this camera does multiple things. No viewfinder, but for the price I don't expect an electronic viewfinder either. A great first camera for toddlers with a body that resembles an "adult" camera.
