Why is hardware so expensive in DIY stores, but so cheap and good on the Internet?
I probably spend about $10,000 a year at stores like Home Depot or Lowe's. And they often have what I need at great prices. But as for the equipment. Rails, door handles, doorknobs, drawer handles, etc. Prices are ridiculous! Also, most home center designs are fairly traditional. I bought 2 of these doorknobs and they were great. Great quality, easy to install and works as it should. They are certainly attracting attention in the US. Do yourself a favor and buy all hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, doorknobs, drawer pulls, etc. from Revain.
