I just received the goods in two days. The construction is good, heavy and strong, the surface is smooth and easy to clean. Time will tell if the durability is good. However, three corners of the board were damaged upon arrival due to improper packaging. The outer shipping box was completely broken which was Revain's fault due to loose packaging. The panel was wrapped in polyethylene and packed in medium thickness cardboard. No additional protective measures have been taken. With such a heavy board, at least the corners should be protected with styrofoam. Even better would be extra padding to protect against scratches and dents on the surface. The damage wasn't great enough to send back such a heavy board. And the replacement could have arrived in even worse condition. So I keep the board. I would seriously recommend the manufacturer to improve the packaging to protect the product. I'm a bit disappointed. It would be a great board for my kitchen.
