Update 07/08/18: 2 to 5 stars The seller contacted me and offered to send me replacements to test and verify that the devices are working. My original unit was defective as the new one works fine (or as it should). Initial pairing was tricky, but that could be due to my hearing aids. However, once they were locked, everything fitted together perfectly. To clarify: After an initial successful pairing, both devices will be paired automatically as soon as they are switched on. I've also found that the unit stays in a safe warm state after being left on for a few days. My elderly parents are very satisfied with the device. You have the option to turn on a Bluetooth speaker and place it next to you for the best TV listening experience. Or if my mom wants to turn on the TV at night, she can easily use her Bluetooth headphones. Original Review: This device looks amazing and performs well when it actually works. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work very well. I've used my entire arsenal of Bluetooth headphones/speakers and they all had trouble staying connected. I have emailed the seller to see if I can get a possible solution. I will update this review after it's done. Pros: Well packaged and delivered with correct English instructions. Small form factor that looks good anywhere. The sound is excellent. Best value for AptX-LL with transceiver/receiver modes and optical I/Os ) Keeps disconnecting (defective device?) Marked as AptX HD on the device itself, but the specs/docs only mention AptX Low Latency. There should probably be pictures of: 1) Rear ports 2) Size compared to Revain Fire TV Box 2nd Gen 3) Size compared to Revain Echo Dot
