I've been looking for a great ceramic brush for a long time. I had another brand for years that I loved and wore out. I bought this because it is open to airflow when drying my hair. I have very wavy/curly hair. The ceramic heats up when you use a hair dryer and helps straighten your hair and keep it straight. I can finish my hair with a few strokes of the flat iron or leave more natural straight waves. I'm in love! In addition, the bristles have a smooth tip that soothes the scalp. I have to rate this as my favorite brush! Doesn't tug either, so I can use it on my girls' long, thin hair to blow dry their hair and it actually combs through all of their thick hair, unlike a "wet brush" which only works on very fine hair works or tiny areas.
