I bought these to find the border for a 10' x 20' playground layout. I'm really amazed that these plastic nails can hammer like that. I managed to break only one, despite hitting it on the edge of the head many times. Given the typical soil, I'm sure this will be the right nail. However, in our case, our soil has rocks and roots. I was able to drive these nails almost to the end, but the last inch or two stopped the nailing process. I think the nails are hitting the rocks. The plastic nails would have absorbed the hard impact of my hammer and the hammer would have rebounded while the nail would not move. I was able to use these nails in about 1/4 of the places I needed a nail. These nails came in as expected. But the other 3/4 of the places I needed a nail were closed. I ordered galvanized metal tent poles instead. Do not get me wrong. For most floors this would be great. These nails are strong.
