I love this hat, I have ordered several different colors. Fits perfectly, does not press or leave marks on the forehead, soft and elastic. Easy to wear and forget it's even there. Sits on the ears and the material is incredibly soft, my ears are happy! You can't really see the hole from above. It's just fantastic because it doesn't leave room for the wind to come in and cool me. The bodice is gathered and there is a circle where the hair band is woven into the hat. You just put on a hat and pull your hair through an elastic band. You have enough space to wear it with or without your hair. The most comfortable hat I have.
