This truly is a stunning set. It came in a fun, old-world feeling box and when I opened it up and removed the stationary and extra tips, I literally gasped. I've never owned anything like this, so it was simply remarkable to me to see all the beautiful pieces.This kit is pretty complete. It has not only the quill pen, but a glass and a wood one as well as many, many different tips. There are several bottles of ink in different colors, all baggied up as to not leak accidentally.I was also pleased to see it came with wax seal supplies, a feature I didn't notice when I ordered. Several colors of wax are included.There was also a small pack of stationary. So this really is everything you need to go old school and get started.I haven't tried all the tips yet, but I gave the quill pen a go. It wrote very smoothly considering I really didn't know what I was doing.There are no instructions or labels in the kit, at least not that I have come across. So if you aren't familiar with all these instruments, prepare to do a little research. But still, a lovely kit that would make a great gift for anyone who enjoys writing or calligraphy, or for yourself just because!
