Review on 🍽️ Convenient and Practical Pyrex 6-Piece 2-Cup Glass Food Storage Set with Lids by Autumn Feudner

Note: I've uploaded half a dozen photos showing both dimensions and details on the product packaging to help other shoppers._________________________________ This Pyrex Simple Store grocery storage set is perfect: it is sturdy (the glass bowls have withstood a few hard knocks), easy to clean and the lids are easy to put on and take off. Storage containers often require gently depressing each side of the lid or prying off the lids once in place to achieve an airtight seal. Not so with this set. The lids are easy to remove with one hand and pressing down on one side seals the lids airtight. secure (top tray only); Made in America; and BPA-free. I'm a little skeptical about the BPA-free claim. In one of the pictures I uploaded, you can see that the label has a green logo that says "Reusable Glassware - BPA Free". Well, glass is naturally BPA-free, so that seems rather misleading. The only part of the product that might contain BPA are the lids, but the packaging doesn't specifically state that the lids are BPA-free, instead seeming to make a misleading comparison that glass, unlike other storage container materials, is BPA -free is . The undersides of the lids are embossed with the words "BPA-free," but again, that could refer to the glass content of the product. If it's important to you to ensure you're using BPA-free products, you should contact World Kitchen (parent of the Pyrex brand) for clarification. I use these bowls to portion out cat food and since the food doesn't really make contact with the lids I don't care as they are stackable but not fully nestable. I uploaded an image showing them stacked. Bottom Line: These are well designed containers and I highly recommend them.
