I like this towel. You may have read about microfiber towels being "scratchy" or not absorbing moisture, but these reports aren't true: The towel feels soft and silky unless you have dry, rough, or cracked skin on your fingers. If so, the towels will cling to that skin and - indeed - look odd. In terms of absorbency, the wetter they get, the more water they absorb - just like suede. You will literally suck water right out of your skin and hair. If you enjoy snuggling up against a big fluffy cotton towel then this is NOT the towel for you. If you like drying off quickly and efficiently, then you've come to the right place! However, you need to learn a new "towel technique" because this towel is best for getting wet, not rubbing. Especially nice here in the muggy deep south is how quickly this towel dries. The cotton towels in my bathroom dry overnight - this towel dries completely in a few hours.
