These hangers are great, much better than I expected! I checked out all the "popular ones" and am so glad I ordered 30 of these hangers instead. I'm a guy who hates things that don't feel right in his hands. These hangers are durable and feel solid without bending or wobbling. They slide gently into one sleeve, then the other, slapping the shirt onto the pole. Measuring 17.5 inches wide, these hangers support my shirts and fleece tops across the width without hanging a few inches on either side. Thanks to the chrome finish, they slide so smoothly on the chrome bar that I can now lift the shirt and pull it out. in 2 seconds. It used to take at least 5 seconds with my plastic hangers. The plastic straps were heavy duty, 3/8 inch thick. The main disadvantage of plastic is that it sticks to the fabric, doesn't slide very well on the bar and takes up a lot of space. Anyway I got all 30 hangers working, got back online immediately and ordered 60 more.Now I love opening my locked doors, love that what I need every day finally works, and all that shiny chrome is a feast for the eyes.
