I needed a summer jacket for my daily commute to work. The problem with Southern California is that it's cold in the mornings and hot in the afternoons. My leather jacket was too hot to ride at 2pm. This jacket fits perfectly. Light and comfortable. I go to work at 5am and usually 45-55 degrees. The supplied lining provides enough warmth for a comfortable ride. Once you remove the lining, the protective mesh jacket is lightweight and comfortable to ride. Riding in 80-100 degree weather is comfortable and you really feel the wind. Good amount of pockets. The zippers and material seem really strong. Last weekend I rode Big Sure from 40-85 degrees to rain. The balaclava and jacket are excellent! I wear long-sleeved thermal underwear and a long-sleeved wool shirt. The jacket was comfortable with the layers I was wearing. The reflectors helped with the dense fog at the PHC. Overall I think the jacket is great! Comfort and design sold. The fit is true to size.
