I have long wanted this backlight, but I have an old and very "thick" (by today's standards) NEC MultiSync EA231WMi monitor, and I did not dare to buy, realizing that it would be impossible to install the lamp. But the desire for possession and the thought "maybe I'll attach it somehow" took over. As a result, this is what happened (see photo): the lamp simply lies on the monitor, held by a strip of double-sided tape. Moreover, the protrusion at the back of the monitor came in handy - the long part of the "clothespin" rests on it. The design, of course, is not the most durable, you will have to delicately move or carry the monitor, but I do not do this with it so often. I also realized that in the dark, additional backlighting is still desirable, otherwise the too contrasting transition between the luminous screen and the pitch darkness behind (this lamp does not shine there) hits the eyes.
