As expected, the white enamel coating developed a brownish haze after daily use. This was expected on my part so no points off from me. The fact that the non-stick surface STAYS non-stick is the important point and this one does. I prefer enamel coatings for longevity but most are over priced, this unit is well within the budget and holds up to my heaviest scorches. Others of similar price fail quickly, this one is built to last as long as you don't mind a bit of discoloration if you use the white enamel. Otherwise, go with the black enameled model by the same maker.
