This is the second time I buy this particular scale. The first lasted almost 8 years before finally dying. I looked for another one but chose this one again as it is easy to use, easy to clean, inexpensive and accurate. Also looks good in the kitchen. It has a weight in grams and ounces and a tare function. There is also an automatic shutdown. I like it for keeping track of calories/serving sizes, but what I like most is that it makes baking so easy. Weighing the ingredients will give you a more accurate end result, but the best part is that you have fewer dishes to wash because you can measure right in your work bowl instead of messing up your measuring cups and spoons.
