It seems a lot of people have had issues with them being inaccurate. Maybe there is a batch difference or something because mine was as accurate as you could hope for compared to other similar products. I've used them with various pH tester calibration fluids I had on hand, and each time they got almost right to the point. I use them to test highly alkaline solutions and in my experience they give me results similar to cheaper digital testers. I just love being able to dip it in, read it and throw it away instead of constantly scraping the hard bases off my digital meter, it just makes me clumsy. Plus, it's another point of reference if nothing else. I recommend it. If you want the highest level of accuracy, you're going to have to spend a lot more than a few dollars on a quality digital meter, and there's no getting around that.
