I needed a small, quiet, low power, self oscillating fan that could be plugged into the mains and this fan fitted the bill. The only thing I was worried about was durability as this fan is part of my home dry aging setup so it should be in a cold, slightly humid environment and run for at least 6 weeks without failure. Pros: 1. Self Oscillation: The sweep range could have been a little longer (it oscillates a little less than 90* arcs) but other than that I was just happy to find a self oscillating fan at this price point. Stepless Fan Speed: Ideal for selecting the fan speed you want without having to settle for preset clicks or levels. At top speed, this is enough to easily rock a 23-pound hunk of beef ribs in the wind. USB Powered: The thin power cord fits snugly between my fridge door seals, and the low 5V draw means the fan doesn't heat up the cabin. And I don't have to worry about changing the battery.4. Adjustable Range: With the x and y rotation capability, you'll have a hard time finding a position where this fan won't spin. The only caveat is that it wobbles on the Y axis. No matter how you tilt it when mounting (either on a table or with a clamp), the wobble orientation stays the same.5. Noise: Quiet enough for me, although the hum can be heard through the closed glass door of my fridge when it's on full blast and the room is quiet.6. Cost: It's very cheap, so even if it breaks I can get one or two as backups and not break a sweat. Cons: 1. Durability: This may not be for everyone, but the fan motor doesn't appear to be built to last. Mine ran for about 4 weeks straight and the fan motor stalled. Oscillation still works.
