This tool is amazing. It feels comfortable in the hand (I have average hands for a woman). It's easy to clean and looks great. I had my doubts that a plastic knife would cut through the skin of an avocado effectively, but it cuts through like warm butter. I found the slicer worked well for a small avocado, but I think that would just be an issue for the aesthetics of the slice on display. As someone who can rarely cut a clean, straight line around an entire fruit or vegetable, I'm fascinated by how I actually end up where I started. Not sure how it works or is it just magic. I highly recommend it even if you only use avocado in smoothies.
