Review on πŸ”’ My Weigh XL-700: The Ultimate Talking Bathroom Scale for Precise Weight Measurements up to 700 lb (320kg) by Amber Harper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

GOOD SCALE. RECORD WEIGHT UP TO 700 LBS. THE ONLY FAULT IS FUCKING SPARE!

This is a very good balance if handled with care. The glass in the display is thin and can easily crack or break. My big fat brother is 6ft 8 and weighs about 320lbs in the summer and more in the winter. Most scales only seem to weigh up to 300 pounds. I have a smaller scale that can weigh anyone up to 400 pounds, but my brother has HUGE fat and wide Fred Flintstone legs that definitely won't fit a smaller scale. These scales are good and wide. The numbers contrast well. I like these scales, but they have one fatal flaw. The weight indicator glass on these scales is the cheapest flimsy junk glass you can make. The smallest bulge and the glass of the weight indicator in this scale cracked. The cheaper scales I have weigh only 300 pounds and have acrylic that's as strong as a nail. I have a different dial with a thick sheet of glass over the numbers. Never broke even under the toughest stress. My brother is a big guy. When he first wakes up, he's not quite there, so the scales can swell up. This thing will break if you hit it just a little bit. Good scale, but the quality is typical for junk made in China. Update: I had a scale a while ago. The new problem is that it creaks and groans and makes plastic/metal noises on impact. The scale didn't break when my 300+ pound brother climbed on it three times a day to weigh himself. I suspect this Libra senses this. The scale may or may not be slow to respond. Now the creaking sounds don't seem serious. This scale even creaks when I stand on it, and I only weigh 179 pounds or so.
