Review on Skyteam 89898 Backhoe Loader Ride On: Unmatched Performance and Fun for All Ages by Gaurav Ansong

Good value for money, we get what we pay for. It was less than 100 and most powered toys usually cost a few hundred soooo...we bought it with low expectations. We were not surprised that the reverse hoe only works in one direction and then no longer retracts. However after reading all the other reviews and noticing similar issues plus the fact that I had to give it to my 2 year old within 24 hours I did what any electrical engineer would do! I unplugged it and used my multimeter to troubleshoot. I found two motors that get 6.5 volts DC and a simple reverse power to change direction. One motor was not getting reverse power so I removed the covers and found the problem. The defective toggle switch had no contact with the momentary action buttons on the circuit board. So I glued the broken plastic back together and reinstalled the lids. Now everything works fine, I do not recommend it to anyone. I would have returned it but I ran out of time... and I wouldn't let my son down!
