This rain poncho is perfect for my 5 year old's school backpack. I put the poncho in a zip pouch and put it in my backpack for a rainy day. The material is not too thick, but not too thin either. That's what I expected and that's exactly what I wanted. I'm glad it came in a 2 pack. In case he loses or loses one, we have another one as a backup.
