After reading about the benefits of jojoba oil I decided to use it in my skincare routine. I was hesitant to apply the oil directly to my face, worried it might cause acne. But after just a few weeks of using this oil, my skin not only got rid of acne but also became softer and smoother. I was blown away by how easy it was. Small pimples on the cheeks disappeared and the wrinkles became less. What really surprised me is that this oil is not greasy or heavy. I now use it as a makeup remover in the evenings and as a cleanser in the mornings. After using the oil to cleanse my face, I wipe it off with a homemade toner and apply some more. This method works well. Since I was having success on my face, I decided to try my arms and legs. Again I was so surprised by the results. My hands are smoother and softer. There is no more uneven skin on the hands. I apply the oil right after my evening shower. By the time I've finished my other nightly rituals the oil has soaked in and I'm not worried about oil getting on my sheets. I love this particular jojoba oil, but I have to admit I haven't tried the others. Here's the shock: I searched the internet for expensive moisturizers and saw that pure jojoba oil was being sold under the names of well-known skin care companies for around $50. And get it. The only ingredient is 100% jojoba oil! How about? But they have a great marketing message and packaging that I can imagine an 'ignorant' person buying them at such an exorbitant price. Either way, the PURA D'OR brand is great. The result is excellent and the price is fantastic. The spray dispenser makes application easier. I will continue to buy this product although the 4 ounce bottle will last a while.
