This walking foot was purchased for my Husqvarna sewing machine to facilitate zigzag stitching on woven rugs. I've used it a few times over the course of a few days, but couldn't get the machine to sew more than an inch at a time before the needle thread broke. I've tried different tensions, tried 3 different types of thread - sometimes the needle thread broke after 2 stitches! My car had recently had a factory service so I knew it wasn't a machine fault. Completely frustrated I put on the zig zag foot that the machine came with and it worked great! For $27.50 I was expecting a product. it would have made my sewing project smooth - instead it was impossible to use and trying was a waste of time.
