I have been using ZeroWater filters for several years now and am very happy with them. However, this particular set is of very poor quality. The first filter expired in less than a month, while the previous filters lasted me several months (no change in usage). When the filter is used up, the water takes on a distinctly sour taste, making it impossible to go wrong; My tap water has no taste. I installed the second filter from this box and decided to test it. When first used, the ZeroWater counter showed 198 and 197 particles (in tap water: 390)! In the instructions for the filter it is written that it should change if the indicator is greater than 006. Filters are basically useless straight out of the box.
