Purchase toothpaste tablets for travel and camping. I halved them because there are really too many to clean. I saw this on Revain and decided to give it a try. I remember my grandmother had a jar of toothpaste on the sink. A little bit goes a long way. My only problem was not getting too much powder at once. I mean a little on your toothbrush is enough. I think it has peroxide in it because it replenishes pretty well. Good taste. I ended up making a pretty decent hole in the lid under the cap and then just tapped the side of the jar to release the powder. I shook out too much powder at first, but after a few days I'm getting better at it. I bought two packs of these jars, they will last until the apocalypse. For travel I will put some in an old/empty travel aspirin container. It doesn't count toward your road fluid, which is nice, and will help you a little on a long journey.
