Buy with iPad when the price drops!
I was initially skeptical as I've never had good experiences with refurbished products, but I have to say this iPad looked like I bought it from Apple. There were no scratches, the screen is responsive. The iPad battery is great! And my mom will love it for Christmas! Also, I bought this iPad for $312 and the current price is $390 so I'd wait if I were you :)
