Review on Steripod Razorpod - Premium Clip-On 💈 Razor Protector 2-Pack: Black Pearl & Pearl White by Lindsey Baker

The Steripod Clip-On Razor Protector comes in two packs and fits most razors. Inside the clip is a strip of zinc that Steripod claims stays sharp longer. In my use, it protects my blades during commuting/travel and extends their life by a shave or two. What I liked about this protector was that it worked with my Gillette Fusion 5 blade. It's snug but still fits. In addition, the blades stay sharp longer. For example, I usually get 2-3 shaves with a cartridge before it starts pinching so bad that I have to replace it. With the Steripod attached, I've always managed to get an extra shave, sometimes even two. What I liked least about this protector is that any pressure or movement can knock the blade out of the pod. That's why I can't keep lengthening my blades. I shave at the gym and always keep a razor in my gym bag. Over time I have often found that my blades have either lost contact with the zinc strip or the entire blade has slipped out of the clip. In any case, I lose the benefits of this suggestion as it works better with smaller blades than larger ones. I also found it a bit overpriced. All in all, while this product works, it really is meant to be used with 2 or 3 thin bladed razors. If your favorite razor is a bit larger, it may not fit securely in these pods, which becomes a problem, especially when transporting it. 3 out of 5 for a Steripods product that was well designed but didn't work for some users.
