There are 4 pieces double leather bags. It rubs up. The 2 parts of the arm attached easily. The detail for the seat itself and the footrest and the large back panel were difficult to install. But the back piece stayed in place because it is placed on the back of the chair like a glove and hooked with a rubber band on the leg of the back. The seat and extendable part of the footrest are a single unit that tucks under the backrest, attaches to the back of the chair with a rubber band, and stretches over the front footrest. When you pull out the footrest this part will slide off as there are no straps at this end and it only covers the top part. Might go with a chair with a slightly smaller, less puffy footrest, or if they let it slide down the whole leg like they did with the backrest. They get good reviews because my old fabric chair looks really great when closed, just like the chair in the picture. So I will not return. But they lose points because of a stand problem.
