Bottom line it works. I have very light, scarred skin and cannot tan naturally. I decided to test this lotion on a foot to see how it would show up, how long it would take to show and what it would remove from the skin. I saw results the same day I applied it and it looked like a natural tan. I then tried different products to take it off to make sure I didn't end up looking like a blotchy mess when using makeup remover or toner. The only product I've found that removes the bare minimum of product is rubbing alcohol. So Neutrogena Makeup Remover and Exfoliating Face Wash are safe! For scars. My scars are HUGE. Of course my scars stay a little lighter when I go out in the sun. The same goes for this lotion; it looks like that of course. All my little scars turn brown along with my skin. Note for those with fair skin: if they can stick together into small crystals, you're probably rubbing them too hard. Think about your armpits/back of arms, neck, and the inside of your belly button (guess who missed that). Wait until you go to bed to do hands so you don't wash everything up and your hands don't match your hands. I applied the lotion two days in a row and then waited about 2-3 days. apply another layer. I don't want to be super-super-tan yet. No matter what happens, you will see the change!
