NOT WORTH THE PRICE, RIGID AND OLD FASHIONED
This NB 996 does not offer the expected comfort, it feels quite stiff and I am not happy with it. On the plus side they will likely last for many years as they are very well built and their stiffness helps to get the balance right. But I will never buy a pair of 996s again.
