I am using these for the Christmas lights outside my house. A few years ago I installed RGB LED strips (another brand) along the gutters for Christmas lights and it was a fun project. Unfortunately, I had problems with the color of the LED strips (long running resistance leads to a noticeable color shift). The glue on the LED strips wasn't very good either and they ended up falling off in the wind. I like these modules very much. I set them up in a very similar way (using my existing controllers and remote) and had no issues with color changes. The adhesive seems strong, but time will tell. I had a module that doesn't look right and I'll probably replace it (by cutting the wires and using the connectors provided to connect it in place). Trying to fix an LED strip is a much more frustrating experience. They are very bright (compared to LED strips). My wife asked me to lower the intensity because they are so bright.
